1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading, or using MedPrep ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Educational & Examination Disclaimer

MedPrep is an independent educational prep platform designed for medical laboratory science and allied health certification review.

  • Non-Affiliation: MedPrep is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or any governing board.
  • No Pass Guarantee: Practice questions, flashcards, and simulated exams are intended solely for personal study and self-assessment. MedPrep does not guarantee passing scores on official certification examinations.
  • Medical Advice Disclaimer: Content provided within MedPrep is strictly for educational review and test preparation. It does not constitute medical diagnosis, clinical advice, or patient care guidance.

3. User Accounts & Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and notify us immediately of any unauthorized account activity.

4. Intellectual Property

All materials within MedPrep — including question banks, explanations, flashcards, visual designs, software code, logos, and UI components — are the exclusive property of MedPrep. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the platform for personal, non-commercial educational use. Scraping, copying, redistributing, or re-selling MedPrep study materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

5. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

When using MedPrep, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or breach authentication mechanisms of the Service.
  • Share account credentials with third parties or allow multiple users to operate a single account.
  • Automate access to our APIs or extract data using bots, crawlers, or scrapers.
  • Submit misleading, offensive, or malicious content.

6. Termination & Account Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by using the in-app Account Deletion feature in Settings or by contacting support.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedPrep and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of MedPrep following posted updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
